This diploma hung on the wall of our San Jose studio for years! Notice it is signed by Ed Parker, Mills Crenshaw, Stan Hall, Charles Sullivan and witnessed by Charlotte Connor, the wife of Tom Connor!

Notice the inscription:

"By the authority granted under the constitution of the governing body of
the Martial awards, and by the United Voice of the Yudanshai international
The International Kenpo Karate Association hereby confers upon:"

"Old and ragged" but still here and readable!

The first group to get these new (IKKA) diplomas - all Sandan - were: Al Tracy, Jim Tracy, Tom Connor and Mills Crenshaw. Notice the promotions were issued under the Voice of the Yudanshai.

What or who IS the Yudanshai? (More about this later!)
Ed Parker was also promoted at this meeting of the Yudanshai. To which rank was he promoted?
